Job Description: *The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that:* • Business requirements are documented and every functional/business consideration is identified before implementing each solution • Business requirements are clearly understood and reviewed and confirmed with the client before functional requirements are finalized - alternative approaches are suggested where viable • Functional requirements are completely documented and understood • Innovative solutions with best practices configuration choices are identified and explored for most prevalent use casesc • Creates functional specifications- Collect, understand and transmit business requirements for projects, and translate into functional specifications, database designs and detailed test plans • Works with client business to understand requirements- Partner with clients to gather all requirements to formulate business process specifications and translate those into application functionality, understanding the value proposition(s) of the project and deciding when to advocate and when to compromise to arrive at mutually acceptable solutions • Works with technical staff to translate requirements- Assists the technical team in translating application functionality into application architecture and the production of system functionality documents. Communicate business directives, goals and needs to the technical team and serve as a client interface for managing user expectations and client satisfaction *Required Skills:* All Analysts are expected to be proficient in: • Eliciting Requirements, • Creating Use Cases and Requirements Traceability Matrix • Thoroughly understanding of a *claims process, Insurance (Health, Auto, Life), Worker's Comp preferred* • Developing workflow and business rules diagrams in Visio • Creating data flow diagrams and data models including use case, activity and workflow diagrams using VISIO • Strong presentation skills and analytical/problem-solving skills • Ability to work in both structured and unstructured environments -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
