Our Client is looking for *Test Engineers - Richmond, VA. *This is long term contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. *Face to Face Interview is Required * Description: The Test Engineer develops test requirements and plans for multiple products. Specific responsibilities include: - Develop test procedures based on user needs, system requirements, technical specifications, etc. - Executes test procedures - Offers suggestions to refine and automate test procedures - Develop automated tests to support growing code base - Perform test plan reviews - Prioritize and schedule testing - Support product development teams and provide need pre-qualification and verification testing - Support the qualification of lab area productivity improvement efforts, including testing, building fixtures, calibration and data collection. - Provide knowledge of test equipment set-up, functional operation, and interconnect of related equipment. - Review necessary support documentation and maintain documentation for each test in a neat and organized fashion. *Qualifications:* 1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering or Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Computer Science or Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years experience within technical discipline or equivalent 2. Familiarity with common testing tools and frameworks (unit testing, automation, etc.) 3. A strong interpersonal skillset, including good technical communications. * * *Preferred Qualifications:* 1. 3+ year experience in an engineering field, including 2+ years of experience as a Product or Test Engineer. In-depth understanding of qualification equipment, test procedures and industry requirements. 2. Previous project or team leadership experience. 3. Previous experience working in Agile software environment 4. Experience working in a geographically dispersed team (US an India) 5. Experience with statistical data analysis tools 6. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and engineers. 7. Experience in developing test tools to improve productivity of test script development and execution. 8. Previous supervisory experience, including global and/or virtual team 9.
