Position: OBIEE Developer Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 12 Months *Visa Status: only US Citizen or Green Card Holder* The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking an Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Developer with solid experience and knowledge in implementing enterprise level RPD’s, reports (BI Publisher, Answers/Dashboard), and analytics. Candidate must be able to develop RPD’s, reports, and dashboards. Candidate will be expected to migrate legacy reporting business logic from SAP (BO/WI, Crystal Reports) and Microsoft (SSRS). Candidate must demonstrate ability to be productive and effective in report conversion. Candidate must be capable and committed to delivering results on-time/on-schedule. The Enterprise Reporting and Analytics Team is composed of 5 report developers and a team leader. The team is migrating Microsoft SSRS reports and SAP Business Objects (v. 4)/Crystal Reports to OBIEE (with Exalytics) BI Publisher and Answers/Dashboards. Over 1000+ SAP reports are currently supported and will be assessed for retirement/replacement using OBIEE. Approximately 30 SSRS reports also will be converted. Development will be focused on providing ad hoc analysis to specific business authors and rolling out reports to business consumers. Current reports utilize the enterprise data warehouse (Oracle Exadata) and connections to SQL Server 2008/2012 and Oracle 11g/12c databases. The team develops enterprise reports within IT applications (internal/external) and on the web. Reports serve all facets of the transportation enterprise from financials, programs/projects, human resources, to federally required reporting. The team coordinates with client, server, network, and database/data warehouse personnel to integrate supporting IT architecture. Moving forward, ad hoc analytics/dashboards, geospatial (Esri) integration, and Microsoft Office add-in integration will also be implemented. The position end date is set for the end of the Georgia DOT fiscal year. Georgia DOT may exercise the option to renew contracts in one year increments. Several successful developers have continued working for several years with contract extensions. However, Georgia DOT is under no obligation to extend contracts and may terminate employment at any time. *Responsibilities:* · Builds OBIEE reports and dashboards using BI Publisher, Answers and Dashboards · Models, configures and optimizes the RPD/Universes from Data Warehouse (OLAP) and databases (OLTP) · Develop, implement, and maintain data cubes, loading data, dimensions, calculating data and aggregation techniques · Design, develop, and document OBIEE repository/metadata · Configures Ad Hoc query and Reporting environments · Building geospatial reports/dashboards · Developing MS Office based content using Oracle Office tools · Assists in OBIEE administration, system maintenance, and upgrades · Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with minimal user disruption · Working in a team environment to develop reports and/or dashboards while working as a team member on an assigned project · Works with business users to gather reporting/analytics requirements · Perform unit, system and integration testing · Manage capacity and performance requirements · Close engagement with Enterprise Architects, Data Warehousing, Database, and Server Administration teams in collaborative design · Provide design and development mentorship/cross-training with fellow team members · Deliver solid, scalable, robust BI reporting/analytic solutions · Assists in the administration and implementation of BI system/system security · Prepare estimates of time for design and development *Required Skills:* · 8+ years of IT development experience · 5+ years of experience in writing PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, etc. · 5+ years of experience as an Oracle BI development using OBIEE with deep expertise in RDP design/development · 4 year Bachelor’s degree with preferred concentration in IT, data science, or business · 2+ years of experience with star-schema, snowflake, FACT, and dimensional data modeling · 2+ years of experience with OBIEE Answers, Dashboards, and BI Publisher · Demonstrated experience in designing, building, implementing, and deploying data universes/data models against Oracle and SQL Server databases · Experience with Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and Reporting Services · Experience with creating dashboards and performance metric based reporting - Strong knowledge of RDBMS – MS SQL Server 2008/2012, Oracle 11g/12c - Demonstrated experience in designing, building, implementing, and deploying enterprise reports, analytics, and dashboards · Experience with deploying/upgrading BI systems · Ability to extrapolate business requirements, practices, and procedures · Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work products · Experience in producing test cases/scenarios · Experience in data analysis, data profiling and validation · Complete working knowledge of OBIEE user, object and data security and caching capabilities. · Able to use complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, optimize and format contents of reports/analytics · Must be skilled and experienced with graphical elements and filtered/layered reporting with drill down capabilities · Understand how to use XML, and XSL for advanced report features and formatting · Ability to design reports in a logical, user friendly, and easy to understand format · Must be able to write technical documentation · Highly organized with the ability to multi-task · High level of customer service · Excellent communication skills · Ability to meet deadlines, results oriented · Committed to ensuring data accuracy and quality within reports · Accountable for actions within OBIEE production environment *Desired Skills:* · Experience in BI security and server administration · Experience with Microsoft SharePoint · Experience with Microsoft SSRS · Experience customizing BI reports using JSP, ASP, SDK · Experience with Crystal Reports and sub-reports · Knowledge of Oracle Financials (PeopleSoft), and Primavera/P6 Analytics, Human Resources (Time and Labor), and Learning Management *With Regards,* *Robert **|**Business Development Manager **|**Platinum Infosys Inc* *Email: rob...@platinuminfosys.com <rob...@platinuminfosys.com> **| **Phone: *214-550-0248 *|** Fax: *214–260–1160 *Visit us @ www.platinuminfosys.com <http://www.platinuminfosys.com>* ------------------------------ Note: Under Bill s.1618 Title III passed by the 105th U.S.Congress this mail cannot be considered spam as long as we include contact information and a remove link for removal from our mailing list.
