Direct Client Need: Build Engineer, Chicago, IL 12 Months Contract
Job Code : Build and Release Engineer Job Description : Candidate would be working as Software Configuration Management and Build Engineer in pre-production team. Job responsibilities include performing build, code merge, branch creation, coming up with improvements in existing and new process. Establishing best practices. Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 5+ Years Experience Required Experience with SVN, bamboo, Experience with Artifactory is a plus Code merge, branching Build installation and troubleshooting experience Intermediate knowledge of SQL (Oracle), Unix/Linux commands and KSH scripting. Intermediate knowledge of the following web development languages (HTML, PHP, PERL, and Javascript) Basic to intermediate knowledge of Bamboo and other tools within the Atlassian suite (Fisheye, JIRA) is a plus. Experience with Tuxedo is a plus. Ability to manage and coordinate the work of others Experience in planning, implementing, testing, and trouble-shooting systems software. To identify, diagnose, and facilitate the resolution of environment support issues and build errors To perform work in support of our continuous improvement initiatives. To work independently and prioritize work with minimal supervision. To communicate clearly and effectively. To learn quickly and adapt in a fast paced support environment. Like to have Basic understanding of Pharmacy technology and concepts. Roles & Responsibilities : Candidate must be able to support multiple projects with Build and code management.
