As a Business Systems Analyst, the candidate will define and document
business and functional application/system requirements to support the
mobile business.  Specifically, the candidate will assist in the creation
of an activation system used in all Best Buy Store locations.  This
position works very closely with a middleware team that provides services
(API’s) used to communicate with various internal and external partners

*Responsibilities: *

· Work closely with and foster good working relationships with the
business and integration partners

· Participate in and facilitate JAD sessions

· Business process modeling (as-is and to-be)

· Requirements documentation

· User interface design

· API Mapping

· UML activity diagramming

· Review test cases and test scripts

· Review application to validate that requirements are met

· Work closely with onshore and offshore development teams

*Must Have Skills: *

   - *Minimum 7 years of experience writing requirements for large system
   integration projects as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.*
   - *Technologies:  Axure, SDLC, (XML, XSD or APIs)*
   - Experience working in a large corporate environment
   - Experience working in extremely fast-paced environments
   - Experience in wireless/telecom, subscription services, or retail point
   of sale.
   - Application UI design (web and/or desktop)
   - Writing use cases and activity diagrams
   - Experience validating system behavior against requirements
   - Usability lab experience – designing sessions and formulating actions
   based upon results
   - Experience working with offshore development teams

· Experience with various development methodologies.

*Preferred Skills*

· Experience with Java

   - Experience delivering applications for mobile devices

· Ability to Read and Interpret XML, XSDs, or APIs

· Experience in Agile/Scrum environment

*Soft Skills: *

· Self-assured and confident disposition

· Self-sufficient/self-starter and works well with little
direction/takes initiative

· Fast/efficient while producing high-quality work

   - Asks many questions and is very analytical

Customers’ are spread across multiple industry verticals such as Banking,
Health Care, Education, etc.  Client has various touch points with its
customers, but these touch points are discrete due to lack of integration
of systems and data silos, resulting in a disconnected customer
experience.  The current project seeks to provide seamless customer
experience by leveraging data from across the organization and presenting
focused high-impact functionality through a single customer facing portal.



*Job Description*

·   Support the definition of the envisioned seamless customer
experience based on inputs from customers and internal stakeholders

·   Recommend, change, and integrate business processes to support the
future state of the organization.

·   Evaluate the current customer portal and provide recommendations on
required changes based on the voice-of-customer / voice-of-business

·   Document processes and detailed requirements

·   Work with the appropriate business owners to ensure that future
state process designs are translated into the appropriate procedural
documents

·   Work with IT core team to ensure alignment between functional
process designs and technical requirements.

·   Aid quality assurance through conducting functional testing as
required

*Requisite Skills and Experience*

·   Prior experience of working on projects involving B2B processes and
portals for commercial clients

·   Exposure to After Sales & Service processes in the Manufacturing
domain

·   Ability to conduct Voice-of-Customer / Voice-of-Business sessions

·   Business process mapping  and ability to design processes where
none currently exist

·   Eliciting requirements through workshops and SME interviews

·   Requirements documentation in the form or use-cases / user stories

·   Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability
to interact professionally with diverse group, executives, managers and
subject matter experts

·   Knowledge of: Requirements Management tool (DOORS), Agile Software
Development, Microsoft Products (Visio, Excel etc.), MircoStrategy Tools.

Position Summary

This position is a key interface between the technical project team and user
communities.

· Serves as liaison between technical developers and subject matter
experts / end users.

· Responsible for:

o   needs analysis

o   project or task planning

o   test planning and/or building test cases from business requirements

o   data modeling and/or logical database design

o   coordinating and overseeing user acceptance testing



Other  Responsibilities include:

· Analyze and document detailed requirements for use by technical
project team;

· Identify deliverables

· Using standard project management tools, define and document the

· Develop and document process flows

· Perform logical database designs, using case tools or automated
