The Software Development team executes web development projects that are a combination of coding and integration with internal and third-party web applications. *Responsibilities * o Understands and translate business strategy, business goals and processes into software solutions. o Interface with business users and technical staff to translate business user requirements into user stories, process diagrams and other system documentation required by project lifecycle methodology. o Analyze business requirements, explore and evaluate various options and contribute to integration effort to meet requirements. Conduct unit testing. o Produce system documentation and data flows. o Interface with software developers, support personnel and other stakeholders to support business needs. o Develop business specifications for application development or enhancements and be key interface between users and developers. o Develop to standards to ensure quality control, application performance, functionality, and other industry best practices. o Document solutions to institutionalize knowledge for the development, operational, support, and end user communities o Embrace changing priorities productively understanding it is required in today’s business environment *Requirements and Qualifications * o Minimum 5 years experience combination technical web software development and business analysis – ideally dealing with media related web sites. o Experience documenting use cases, requirements, sequence diagrams and data flow diagrams in a technical environment. o Experience with AGILE software development methodology. o Excellent oral and written communication skills. o Must possess critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. o Practical knowledge of software development lifecycle o Excellent team player that is flexible and can execute on assigned tasks, adjust to changing business priorities and plans.
