We are looking for a Senior ASP.NET (VB.NET) Web Programmer who relishes the opportunity to work on many different high impact web projects for our Internet and Intranet sites. Our ideal candidate is someone who has personally developed projects for a mid-sized Internet company. We will need to see a functional VB.NET example and source code that you have built. This is a full time, direct hire position, so you will need to do all work onsite Monday-Friday. *Keys Qualities:* - Candidate must be able to program in VB.NET and ASP.NET. We don’t want someone looking to learn .NET technology; we want someone who can program in .NET technology. - Candidate must have at least 5+ years web programming experience working in a professional web environment. - Candidate must be a team player with a collaborative outlook and personality and be able to communicate frequently with non technical marketing staff. *Requirements:* - 5+ years of professional web development experience using *C#, .NET, VB/ASP.NET 3.5 – 4.0, MVC, and WCF.* - 2-3 years of fulltime professional experience developing *web applications in VB.NET.* - 2 years professional experience with *SQL Server 2008 and Transact-SQL. * - *1-2 years AJAX development experience. * - At least 1 year experience working in a team with other.NET developers. - Experience with *REST API and high traffic web site. * - Excellent communication skills – as a growing company, frequent communication with non-technical people is necessary. - Minimum of 2 years hands-on development experience with *Microsoft SQL Server.
