Long term Contract The role has the responsibility for defining service and technology architectures, the candidate will be a subject matter expert responsible for design and deployment strategy of IT infrastructure with requirements for significant collaboration, accountability, leadership in the IT organization. The candidate will be working in a fast-pace environment as a creative architect, mentor and problem solver. *Responsibilities:* · Effectively collaborates with IT personnel, business units, customer and key vendor relationships, in defining business and technical needs. Communicates and maintains relationships while setting expectations, researching and recommending solutions. · Identify and analyze business requirements to provide a complete technical solution for the enterprise or business unit in a moderate to highly complex, large-scale, integrated environment. · Design infrastructure, create plans and deliver technical architecture for business objectives, innovative solutions and emerging technology, while anticipating growth, scalability and staying abreast of industry trends. Use metrics to identify trends, improve processes and bridge different areas of the infrastructure. · Create a conceptual and logical architecture for solutions, generating documentation with detailed designs, configuration, deployment and test plans. The solution may include infrastructure network, storage, virtualization, applications, security, and OS. · Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex infrastructure and networking problems. Identifies the key problems to be solved and solves them independently, using professional knowledge, sound judgment and policy and procedure. Consults with Vendor subject matter experts on complex technical issues, as needed. · Provide 5th level technical infrastructure expertise and an on-call escalation point , This individual serves as a subject matter expert for the IT organization, both as a leader and mentor, supporting the core values of the company and promoting teamwork. Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent with 10 + years of progressive experience in network engineering, security and telecommunications environment. CCIE or equivalent. · Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a highly dynamic and fast-pace environment with changing priorities. · Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and excellent presentation skills. · Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical, especially executive, audiences. · Strong understanding of compute virtualization architectures. · Proven leadership ability. · Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously. · Keen attention to detail. · Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. · Exceptional service orientation. · Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. · Expert level knowledge in: Complete technical architecture: deep expertise in two or more technology domains (network/infrastructure, collaboration, cloud, data, applications/middleware) but fluency in all technology domains. Fluency in network technologies and related, advanced technologies. Expertise in several soundness disciplines (availability, security, etc.) and operational disciplines (systems management, change management, etc.). Fluency in key IT business architecture areas including business process design and governance. · IP Internetworking design and troubleshooting. · Datacenter management, application and framework. · Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS). · In-depth knowledge of network management, QoS, network availability and capacity planning. · Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, PIM Multicast). · LAN, WLAN, and WAN circuits and protocols (Ethernet, MPLS, DMVPN, etc). · Expertise on latest Cisco hardware and operating systems (IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS). · State-full firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and Virtual Private Network. · Network Virtualization technologies (VRF, VDC, Nexus 1kv). · Network Load balancing and application firewall (Citrix Netscaler). · Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) and PKI certificate-based authentication. · Cisco Unified Communication (UC) supporting both Voice and Video. · Enterprise Storage and Virtualization solutions (NetApp and VMware) are a plus. · Ability to direct other technologists to ensure collaboration and synergies across the team. · Project implementation skills including planning, reporting, directing the work of others. · Ability to solve problems with innovative ideas. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
