Projects involving *Business Intelligence (BI),* Data Warehousing and Data
Conversion from Legacy to Enterprise systems using standard *SDLC*
 methodologies.
·         Experienced in all phases of the SDLC for Decision Support
Systems including Requirements gathering, *Analysis, Design, Development
and Testing* using MS SQL Server 2005, 2008 suite of products *(SSRS, SSAS,
SSIS, DTS)*
·         Expertise in the usage of ETL tools including SSIS, DTS for
large-scale Data warehouse implementation Projects involving conversion of
data from heterogeneous data sources including *SQL Server 2000/2005, DB2,
Oracle.*
·         Expertise in the Best Practices related to the development,
implementation, administration and support of *ETL* processes using Bulk
Copy Process (BCP), Data Transformation Services (DTS) and *SSIS* packages
with MS SQL Server 2000/2005.
·         Hands-on experience Relational Database Modeling and Dimensional
Modeling in combination with *SSAS* to develop *OLAP* cubes having
Star/Snowflake schemas.
·         Experience in designing *MDX* expressions/queries for accessing
SSAS cubes.
·         Good knowledge on *Informatica*.
·         Excellent *T-SQL* programming skills and experience in the
development of SSIS packages using *BIDS, complex Stored Procedures,
Configuration Files, Tables, Views, Triggers and Functions.*
·         Expert in Performance Tuning, handling *Indexes* and *Query
Optimization*.
·         Worked on administration tasks such as Data loading, Batch Jobs,
Data unloading, Backup & Recovery, User and Application Table Management,
upgrades, creating Databases/File groups/Files/Transaction logs.
·         Experience in *using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) *for
the development of role based Dashboards and *Ad hoc Reports* to monitor *Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs)* and support operational and strategic
reporting requirements.
·         Proficient in the ergonomic design of Dashboard and Report
layouts for canned reports as well as Ad hocs with advanced *drill-down,
sorting and filter* capabilities.
·         Experience in conducting *UAT* sessions for obtaining sign-offs
on Reports and User Training as part of the *Deployment Plan* for Data
warehouses.
·         Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to work
independently as well as in a team.
·         Good Experience on *Agile methodologies* like SCRUM using *Target
Process*, *Team foundation Server*.
·         Good Basic Knowledge of Microsoft .Net Technology.
