Description: The developer will work closely with the development team and business analysts to develop a new web based portfolio management application. The applicant must be a senior level developer capable of independent and team work, ability to design, implement, and participate in all aspects of the software lifecycle as needed. The development team uses agile methodologies. This position will focus on backend computational programming, interfaces, workflow, and web service development. Additionally analysis of existing systems and developing transitional methods to provide data from new and legacy systems will be required. Job Requirements: Required Skills: Strong written and verbal communications, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are necessary. Ability to interact and communicate successfully with business partners and technology teams is an absolutely required. 10+ years experience successfully developing applications for Windows platforms using Microsoft technologies 10+ years developing web applications 6+ years developing with C#, ..Net 6+ years developing web services. REST experience is preferred but SOAP will be accepted. 4+ years SQL experience Experience with JSON and BSON or at a minimum XAML Very strong object oriented design skills with proven track record of well engineered design. Experience with UML diagramming Experience using source control and strong understanding of configuration management usage Self starter who can grasp difficult concepts and large architectures quickly and contribute at the design and coding levels.
