Job Title: *Project Manager (Java)*
Location: *Portland, OR*
Duration: *6 Months*
*Job Description*:
· Should be experienced in managing JAVA oriented projects
· Create and actively monitor project budgets, schedules, assigned
resources, issues, and risks while delivering project requirements and
deliverables on time and within the allocated budget.
· Work with Business System Analyst to develop project plan, scope,
deliverables, documentation, and approvals as required by IT standard
processes.
· Facilitate Steering Committee and project meetings and document
outcome
· Identify and monitor risks, actively reducing risk exposure
throughout the life of each project.
· Forecast project expenses and resource utilizations.
· Troubleshoot problems and propose optimal resolutions.
· Provide customer service in an advisory role.
· Facilitate creating and reviewing IT work estimates as well as
tracking actual work to estimates.
· Provide periodic status reporting as requested.
· Provide leadership for the project team
· Responsible for optimization of system applications.
· Provide guidance and training to peers and to others at lower
levels.
· Develop and perform formal presentations when required.
· Provide detailed input in preparing requests for proposal.
· Understand IT processes and work within designated guidelines
