SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2007 (MOSS), ASP.Net, C#, HTML5/CSS,
JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, XSLT.
Specific SharePoint Development Skills include: creating custom
MasterPages, StyleSheets and Page Layouts for fully branded environments,
custom Webpart development,
custom Timer Job development, custom Event Receiver development, creating
Workflows using Visual Studio, creating and updating custom Content Types,
Site Columns, Lists,
and Libraries via features and feature receivers, experience with the
Client Object Model and asynchronous calls, thorough understanding of CAML
queries
Experience with InfoPath, Performance Point, PowerShell, third party
packages or controls and/or SharePoint 2013 a plus.

*Primary Role:*
·         Responsible for the development and support of multiple Business
·         Application Development applications/systems including leading
efforts related to program design, construction, analysis, implementation
and daily support for these systems.
·         Typically responsible for multiple complex components of an
application solution.

*Key Accountabilities:*
Process Improvement:
·         Identifies processes for improvement, documents existing
processes, identifies and analyzes gaps between current processes and the
desired
                state, designs new processes, develops process performance
measures and may lead plans to transition to a new process. (20%)

*Project Management:*
·         Analyzes and documents relevant technical processes related to
systems projects and improves these processes where appropriate.
·         Reviews systems under development and participate in team
activities including monitoring project schedules and costs.
·         Develops technical artifacts such as; system and functional
requirements, technical specification documents, and software testing
·         scripts, for software selection and development projects.
·         May lead the implementation and roll-out of projects and/or work
efforts and provides support to users. (35%)

*Technical Application Management:*
·         Provides extensive technical application support including those
applications that have a 24 x 7 service level agreements as part of the on
call rotation.
·         Collaborates with other ITS team members, providing technical
expertise, to facilitate timely and accurate resolution of customer issues.
·         Performs root cause analysis when solving problems and implements
solutions that will prevent the problem from reoccurring.
·         Possesses knowledge of technological trends and uses this
knowledge when bringing solutions to the business in an effort to enhance
the enterprise's competitive edge.
·         Participates in buy versus build discussions.
·         Provides training, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced
programmer analysts on a regular basis. (40%)

*Vendor Management:*
·         Has interactions with technical vendors and deals with these in a
professional manner. (5%)

*Education:*
·         Bachelor’s Degree required in a computer-related field.
·         In lieu of computer-related degree, under-graduate degrees in
other
·         fields may be considered in conjunction with equivalent work
experience.

*Skills - Knowledge:*
·         Broad knowledge and experience related to computer systems and
technologies.
·         Advanced understanding of typical design patterns.
·         Strong knowledge of common industry software development tolls
and platforms, in addition to free and open source tools.
·         Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products, e.g., word
processing, spreadsheet, presentation, data base, project planning.
·         Strong knowledge of SDLC and PMO methodologies.
·         Must understand technical problems and solutions in relation to
current and future business environments.

*Experience:*
·         Typically has 5-7 years of IT experience with emphasis on
performing software development activities; writing/debugging software,
systems analysis work, etc.
·         Experience with all sized technical activities including projects
and other enhancement work.
·         Experience in the development of technical standards and
procedures.
·         Hands-on experience with the configuration of technical business
applications.
·         Experience with the utilities industry is desirable but not
required.
·         Work Environment: Standard office environment
·         Travel Requirements: Up to 15% travel as required.
