Support daily processing of batch cycles and work with Development team to identify issues and implement fixes / data clean up as required. Minimum Qualifications 4 years Oracle Developer experience developing custom applications. Programming experience on projects that have gone through all stages of system development life cycle (requirements definition through implementation). Languages: SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader. RDBMS: Oracle 10g. Four years experience in Unix (AIX) environment. Experience with large-scale financial and operations system applications and installations. Including reconciliation, testing and recovery strategies, Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and back end data support experience. Strong leadership, high energy, enthusiasm, initiative and entrepreneurship Solid written and verbal communication, time-management skills, and proven ability to work well with others Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and ability to prioritize tasks. Principal Challenge Some of the most complex challenges will be providing data support duties and identifying issues for a new Point of Sale application which feeds downstream systems which this position will be supporting. Principal Accountabilities High degree of support to backed user community (Accounting, Reconciliation, etc.) Ability to produce thorough and accurate results. Writes and implements bug fixes, data repair and upgrades, ensuring not to affect schedules, procedures or training. Ability to develop quick and accurate decisions, which the manager can rely on with the utmost confidence. Ability to evaluate and research database problems/issues. Self-starter and willingness to undertake task/responsibilities, which haven’t been explicitly assigned by supervisor.
