The role is to participate on the Longitudinal Data Pilot implementation
team working with the Business Analysts and Project Team to help with data
modeling, access to identified database(s), data definition and overall
database querying and administration capability.

*Specifically the Technical Resource will be asked to:*

Work with DBA’s and systems owners to identify key fields and suggest data
modeling, data aggregation and indexing strategy

Understand database administration and management, primarily relational but
potentially legacy proprietary non-relational

Comfort with desk top data sources such as MS Excel, Acrobat PDF (example
publishing format), MS Word, Powerpoint and other

Be aware of security and confidentiality protocol while accessing database
records

Understand data indexing, ontology’s and taxonomy

Have a comfort level writing script level code in order to maximize use of
disparate data sets if necessary

Familiarity with query language tools such as SQL, Natural Language, other…

Strong knowledge of a federated approach for information access by multiple
user communities

Working knowledge of data warehousing, EII, EAP and middleware
