Looking forward to hear from you... *Role: OBIEE Developer* *Location: Austin, TX* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Rate: $/hr on C2C All Incl.* *Responsibilities and Skill sets/Abilities:* · Design and implementation of the presentation layer (RPD) for maximum efficiency and use. · Business intelligence development of reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and metadata layers, using OBIEE. · Synthesize and translate business requirements into true data visualization. · Add value by providing innovative solutions, and delivering improved upon methods of data presentation by focusing on the business need and the business value of the solution. · Solve business challenges by helping to translate the meaning of data, impact of that data, and be able to effectively communicate the story that the deliverable tells or the problem that the deliverable solves. · Build prototypes for demonstration and illustration purposes for peer groups, business partners, or senior leaders. · Look for opportunities to improve current processes or find efficiencies by applying industry best practices for BI development. *Required Qualifications, Skill sets and Abilities:* · Four (4) year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field. · Ability to interpret business requirements and develop technical solutions to internal and external systems. · Ability to work with multiple levels of business and IT management. · Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience (5-10 years). · Data Mart development experience, including knowledge of dimensional modeling. · Experience with OBIEE Presentation Layers, including CSS. · Experience with OBIEE Designing and Developing Dashboards for Internal and Public Consumption. · Experience with HTML and java in conjunction with OBIEE. · Experience with Ad-hoc Query and Analysis. · Experience with Maintaining Security in Business Intelligence Systems. · Preference given to candidates who have experience with our existing toolset which includes: o Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition. o Oracle Database. o Oracle GoldenGate. o Oracle Data Integrator. o Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler. o Oracle SQL Developer.
