* * *Senior Oracle BI/Map developer only Locals will be considered * ** Location Downtown Boston Rate DOE Duration I + year * * *Description * The Senior Oracle BI/Map developer is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining components developed using Oracle OBIEE and MapViewer technologies. This includes providing insight and guidance on overall system design, as well as working with the development team and infrastructure solving complex technical and application software issues. The Senior Oracle BI/Map developer will be a go to person for Oracle Mapviewer and OBIEE development and expertise. They are responsible for working as part of a team and be able to be productive in a fast paced dynamic environment. This position requires someone who is hands-on with recent implementation experience with Oracle application development and business intelligence tools and technologies. ** ** *Description of Project:* Major components of this multi-phased effort include the following: Data sourcing from multiple agencies, sub-recipients, and vendors involved with related programs Staging, validation and transformation of data provided by the aforementioned organizations Centralization and organization of data for optimized reporting, analytics, and overall transparency Submission of data to regulators and attainment of federally mandated reporting accuracy and transparency requirements Expansion of capabilities beyond federally mandated reporting & transparency requirements in the interest of further informing the residents of Massachusetts, and increasing the overall execution efficiency and effectiveness of the projects performed within the company. Design, implementation, and management of public and internal facing web based reporting. Implementation of processes and controls across the above components *Specific Deliverables:* ** Design, develop and support components developed in. o OBIEE o Mapviewer o APEX Assist in setup and configuration of related tools and technologies across dev, test and production environments Working with team to support operational business processes ** ** ** ** *Experience Required:* At least 4 years of specialized experience in the design and implementation of reporting solutions with Oracle OBIEE technologies, with a high degree of maturity in complex report development including mapping capabilities. At least 2 years experience in implementing web based BI solutions for internet, extranet and intranet At least 3 years recent experience implementing the above components leveraging Oracle reporting tools and technologies, including OBIEE and MapViewer Deep Experience in developing map based reports with OBIEE and Oracle map viewer Experience in OBIEE and oracle technologies in a Linux environment Experience designing and developing public facing business intelligence sites, including portals, dashboards, basic reports (charts, graphs, maps, drill downs) and advanced reports (ad-hoc reporting). Experience in web technologies including weblogic web and application servers Experience in javascript and java technologies. Experience in building applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX) a plus Proven effective execution experience in high visibility, high criticality programs with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the client organization State and or federal government experience helpful, but not mandatory *Skills Required:* Design, implement, and support business intelligence and application solution using Oracle OBIEE and Mapviewer products. Excellent problem solver with the ability to keep many driving factors and requirements in focus Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Ability to understand the big picture and direction as well as maintaining a good grasp in understanding the detailed requirements and nuances of the solution. Ability to work in a team environment supporting technical and project aspects of team related to assigned work.
