The primary responsibility is to understand business needs and convert them to written IT requirements for development, testing, and implementation. Basic Functions: 1. Demonstrate an understanding of banking environment to bridge business requirements and IT solutions. Provide technical direction and ensure compliance with best practice solutions. 2. Interface with financial users and facilitate identification of new business requirements. 3. Guide business people (owners, managers, users) to define, justify, and test those requirements. 4. Suggest alternative solutions for business needs. 5. Create Test Scripts for use in system and UAT testing. 6. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience: 1. 8+ years of extensive experience as a business analyst with focus on process improvement, data quality, and systems life cycle methodologies; preferably in the banking industry 2. Requirements development and traceability techniques; design of test cases 3. Strong knowledge of workflow standards, concepts, and practices 4. Excellent communication skills; polished customer service and organizational skills; technical aptitude with a demonstrated appreciation for customer and client services 5. Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, organize and prioritize work 6. Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact at all levels; develop effective relationships and build consensus Desired Experience: 1. Understand baking process and efficient communication with Business users with banking terms 2. Process Engineering 3. Worked closely with vb.net developers and understand conversion of requirements to vb.net applications 4.
