Please find the below requirement,

*Android Developer*

*Location – Cupertino, CA*

*Duration: 6+MONTHS*



We’re looking for a highly independent individual to work on our smartphone
connectivity project;

We’re working mainly on CarPlay and OAA connectivity with various of our
automotive head-unit products.



*Role*-

· Debug interoperability with Android smartphone and support the
development team;

· *Verify that various products work consistently; and create test
specifications.*

The automotive head-unit uses QNX and the smartphone uses Android; so
experience in both is good.

However, experience in Android is more important.



*Required skills:*

· Fluent in written and oral English.

· Fluent in Windows / especially Excel

· 3+ years of experience in Android development

· 3+ years of software/product QA experience, or equivalent
experience in finding and fixing software defects.

· Demonstrated proficiency in C

· Proficiency in shell scripting (bash)

· Interested in providing a great in-car UX



*Desired skills:*

· Experience in QNX and Momentics IDE

· Knowledge of video and audio streaming technologies and concepts

· Experience with TCP/IP, USB/NCM, I2C, WiFi, Bluetooth



Additional Notes:

· Latest experience in black-box testing of someone else’s full
system?

· There’s a huge difference between white-box vs black-box;

· Also between testing your own app vs testing your colleague’s app
vs testing an outside company’s app;

· Also between testing an app vs testing a product vs testing
various products interconnected.
