We need three permanent employees for the project.
They will be assisting in completing the build out and supporting it
thereafter.
These candidates need to exhibit exceptional leadership skills.
They need to have worked in a large environment with multiple priorities.
Ability to learn or prior knowledge in Azul would be a plus.

Middleware Admin – Infrastructure Development
Project Background
Define, build and support the architecture and tools used by application
development teams.
Work as a liaison between the application development staff and the
technical support teams to provide architecture support, standards, and
production control and application server administration.
Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues in both production and
nonproduction environments.
*Qualifications:**
*
• In-depth knowledge of UNIX environment from an architecture perspective.
• Korn shell is required; bash, WLST and Perl scripting a plus.
• In-depth understanding of the UNIX files system
• Ability to create and manage UNIX profiles and comfortable maneuvering at
a UNIX command line.
• Senior level experience in Application Server Administration - Web Logic
and Web Sphere.
• Leadership skills to work with multiple support and application teams.
• Must display willingness to accept responsibility, take initiative, use
good judgment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be able to act decisively and promptly while maintaining a high level
of accuracy.
*Job Responsibilities include:*
• Administer Web Logic and other application server environments for several
in-house-developed and vendor-supplied applications.
• Ability to install, configure and support any type of application server
software whether it be vendor specific or a proprietary product as long as
proper specs and internal resource guidance are provided.
• Assist in setting-up/verifying the UNIX application environment.
• Automate the administration of the application run-time environment where
possible.
• Provide production control support primarily in the UNIX and application
server environment.
• Provide direction and training to application development teams in the
UNIX and application server environment.
• Evaluate software packages, ensuring that they fit within Kohl’s
architecture and infrastructure.
• Provide timely and accurate on-call support for production infrastructure
components.
• Provide training or mentoring to large groups on tools or architecture
concepts as needed.
