Job Title : Citrix Admin Location : SEASIDE, CA Duration : 12 +months Job Description FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION OF CANDIDATE NEEDED: • Senior Citrix Designer and Administrator. Working knowledge of VMware vSphere, NetApp storage devices, and Cisco Networking devices a plus. Must possess an extensive knowledge of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop. Other Citrix product experience is preferred. Must be able to architect and design Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop solutions and integrate these with VMware vSphere and NetApp storage devices. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop design and administration experience. • Certification such as Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer or Citrix Certified Integration Architect preferred. • VMware vSphere and NetApp design and administration experience preferred but not absolute. • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance. • Working knowledge of networking with Cisco devices helpful. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Architect and design Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop solutions and integrate these with VMware vSphere and NetApp storage devices in a Windows Server 2008 environment. • Optimize, troubleshoot, and resolve Citrix related issues for a highly secure and highly available (redundant) configuration. • Provide technical support and administration of Citrix implementation at client site. REQUIREMENTS: • Implement industry best practices for configuration management and change management of Citrix implementation. • Prepare disaster recovery plans for the Citrix devices and conduct recovery tests. • Response to systems failures and analyze and resolve product support deficiencies. • Perform regularly scheduled hardware and software maintenance as well as configuration backups.
