*Job Description:*





*What you’ll be doing*

• Develop backend applications in python, Golang, Perl, java for
automation, data transfer, processing, and ingestion (Linux and Windows OS).

• Work in on-prem as well as cloud-based environments.

• Interact with databases such as MySQL, Aurora

• Write automated test cases for developed code.

• Provide production support and troubleshooting across multiple products
on-prem and in cloud. • Write code documentation and install guides.

• Highly motivated self-starter, detail oriented able to work independently.

• Always look out for ways to improve existing processes.

• Strong communication skills when responding to internal and external
partners.



*What your background looks like*

• 5+ years coding experience. (Python, go-lang, java, bash, PowerShell,
Perl +)

• Database knowledge such as MySQL and Aurora primarily, plus others
(Oracle, Vertica, DB2)

• Knowledge and experience using Apache Airflow

• Knowledge and experience using Apache hive

Knowledge and experience working in AWS environment. (S3, EFS, EC2, EMR
etc.)

• Knowledge and experience in Agile framework

• Knowledge and experience with the complete SDLC.

• Knowledge and experience using Jira and Confluence (or equivalent)

• Knowledge and experience using source code repositories (git, bitbucket)

• Any ETL tool usage experience is a plus.

• Experience in with OpenShift Containerization Platform and Kubernetes
cluster across the cloud platforms is a plus

• Experience with Azure is a plus

   - *5+ years of experience with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) *
   - Developing platform-wide automated solutions and managing CI/CD
   pipelines for all stakeholders. Ability to create and maintain cloud
   deployments, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure (network, databases,
   distributed storage, Linux, log aggregation, and other common IT tasks),
   serverless applications, coding and microservices.
   - Extensive  experience  in  Leading  and Implementing Infrastructure
   Automation in Cloud Environment on AWS/GCP/Azure and on-prem in Agile/ non
   agile environments.
   - Strong  Software/Infrastructure Automation and  Architecture
   experience with software engineering background.
   - Experience in Development, Systems Administration and Configuration
   Management and worked on various Cloud/IaaS platforms
   - Extensive experience includes SCM, Build/Release Management,
   Performing monitoring, automation, deployment, documenting, and  support
   and troubleshooting. Experience in release management of enterprise web
   applications using J2EE and Java related technologies.
   - Well-versed in all phases of software development lifecycle Excellent
   understanding of SDLC Methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, RUP, RAD and
   other processes.
   - Experience in Perl Script, Shell Script, JIRA, Code Coverage, Ant,
   Maven, Build and Release management, Change Management, Process
   Engineering, Application Packaging and Web Programming.
   - Implementing DevOps practices Continuous integration/continuous
   deployment (CI/CD) need to be able to build a CI/CD pipeline from scratch
   for any application.
   - Experience with Version Control using Git or GitHub.
   - Experience with Cloud Native Applications, containers, dockers,
   Kubernates
   - Experience with Master Distributed Computing and Microservices
   - Experience with ITSM standards
