Participates in software development testing by creating use cases, and
researching and resolving issues. Participates in business analysis
projectplanning and management by documenting and maintaining plans,
managing issue
logs and preparing project documentation. Analyzes current processes and
recommends solutions and improved processes. May also oversee the
acquisition, analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge.
Provides technical and business knowledge to internal and external clients.
Codes and maintains business application programs from user instructions or
formal functional specifications. Experience in the analysis and testing
phases in the development cycle. Conducts workflow analyses, assesses impact
of systems functionality on operations and makes integration
recommendations. Documents new functionality and related set up and
operational procedures. Identify and understand relationships among
problems, issues and data. Conduct more thorough analysis when problem areas
are discovered. Interprets and clearly communicates information verbally and
in written format. Uses appropriate communication tools to inform, educate
and to facilitate communication within project teams. In addition having
experience of 6+ years.  Derivatives experience is *highly* prefered.

Job Description – CM Tool Implementation for Agile Development Tool

Summary
Configuration Management (CM) implementer needed to operationally Agile
development tool (Rally). *Must have Agile Tool administration experience
including: upgrade planning, backup administration, connector configuration,
monitoring status of application.* Technical skills required include:
Remedy, AutoSys, ClearCase, ClearQuest and enterprise monitoring. Strong
UNIX scripting skills. UNIX administration a plus. Implement LDAP
integration with Rally. Develop automated method to add users. LDAP query
knowledge a plus. Support Rally software rollout to large corporate
audience.

Developer must be able to work with and across all functional application
teams. Must possess an in-depth understanding of current development
processes and application dependencies and be skilled in all phases of the
software development lifecycle. This individual should be able to
effectively communicate with his or her peers, external teams, managers and
clients.

Duties
â—� Quickly acquire a thorough understanding of the current software
infrastructure and processes.
â—� Flexibly adapt existing code meet requested changes. Recommend best
practices and solutions for problem resolution.
â—� Present analysis, design and workflow to developer peers for review.
â—� Present code to developer peers for review.
â—� Partner with external teams as necessary to achieve development
objectives – ability to communicate with other technical staff imperative.

â—� Thorough understanding of Configuration Management duties and
responsibilities, history tracking, segregation of duties, and compliance.
â—� Understanding of release management process, change control process,
application components, databases and infrastructure.
â—� Strive to automate every aspect of the release process to save time,
improve accuracy, and promote repeatability of the builds. Create, maintain,
and improve programs and scripts to automate and support software
development life cycle development process, to generate software quality
matrixes.
â—� Analyze and provide problem resolution on technical issues. Identify
potential improvements to increase the reliability, availability,
supportability and performance of the applications and infrastructure.
Interface with developers, test users; communicate with technical,
management, and external teams to identify and resolve problems.

The UNIX Systems Engineer is responsible for overall maintenance and
administration of all UNIX systems supported by the Systems Support and
Engineering team.



*Essential Functions/Responsibilities:*

*Technical Requirements:*



Qualified candidates should have a minimum of *4 years systems
administration experience, with at least 2 years in a UNIX hosting
environment*.  They should be comfortable with several UNIX platforms, such
as SUN Solaris, HP-UX, Red Hat and SuSE Linux. Knowledge and understanding
of network concepts and technology including TCP/IP protocols, high
availability system design, Web hosting or database management is preferred.
Experience in building and supporting environments with 100% uptime
requirement is desired.



*Other Requirements:*



Candidates should be detail-oriented, have very strong analytical and
troubleshooting skills, strong communication/documentation skills.
Candidates should be familiar with fundamental operations concepts such as
change control, importance of good documentation and problem ownership.  The
ability to work productively in a team environment is essential.

The successful candidate will be personable and give high priority to
customer/client satisfaction.



The position requires participation in an on-call rotation, 24x7
availability via email and/or cell phone and some travel to globally
dispersed data centers.

Directory upgrade. The reasons identified for this need are:

The environment is probably around 75,000 users globally.  The ideal
candidate should be a Senior Architect with extensive Active Directory
experience for large Fortune 100 level organizations. Strong understanding

security and authentication best practices and compliancy expected.


Assume Windows 2003 server environment, number of forests and domains n/a,

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of PEIMS
Business Analyst, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general
qualifications of *ITSAC Business Analyst 2 Category**, Emerging Technology
Type* and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas
Education Agency (TEA).



All work products resulting from the project shall be
considered “works made for hire� and are the property of the TEA.  TEA
may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their
Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by
the Texas law. TEA will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which
occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).



This position is for a business analyst with solid requirements gathering,
business process re-engineering and documentation skills.  The candidate
must have experience with business analysis for an object oriented (OO) web
application and working with an agile/scrum development team.  They must
also be familiar with UML and documenting use cases with a UML tool.  The
position will require the candidate to work closely with the PEIMS internal
users and management team, the PEIMS Redesign technical team and other
internal staff.  The duties include, but are not limited to documenting the
current system and gathering requirements specifications for new systems.
The duties of the position will require the analyst to:



A.  Organize, plan and hold requirements gathering work sessions with
PEIMS users and translate the results into use cases, activity diagrams,
web-page mock-ups, and other documents to help explain and define the
requirements of the new application.

B.  Translates requirements into a high level product backlog and
participates with the product owner and team to prioritize the development
work and release plans.

C.  Write clear and concise requirements specification documentation,
(UML use cases and activity diagrams, Visio diagrams, Optimal Trace use
cases, Adobe Fireworks GUI mock-ups, Enterprise Architect diagrams, etc…)
which will be used in the development of the new suite of subsystems that
make up the revised PEIMS application, workflows, processes and Cognos
reports.

D.  Work with PEIMS Redesign technical team and PEIMS users to clarify
documented requirements for new application and enhancements for the
existing system as required.

E.   Document all new development requirements using a combination of
tools including MS Word, Excel, Visio, Optimal Trace requirements management
tool, and Enterprise Architect UML tool.

F.   Perform analysis of the existing processes and procedures and make
suggestions for process improvement.

G.  Mentor and transfer knowledge gained to TEA employees.

H.  Report routinely on the progress of assigned tasks to the TEA
PEIMS Redesign
project manager.

I.Must comply with TEA’s Project Management Offices processes and
procedures.

J.All work assignments must be completed in accordance with TEA
policy, procedures, and guidelines.

K.  Assists in the development of testing plans and test scripts for
user acceptance testing.

L.   Assists and coordinates user acceptance testing and user training.

M.May also be required to perform test scripts for SCR and other
enhancements of the existing system.

N. May create or update other PEIMS specific documentation (procedures,
user help, training materials, overviews, etc.) as required.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Provide performance analysis and reporting services by manipulating complex
raw data files and running ad hoc data queries against existing large
databases. The data extracted through these queries will then be formatted
into reports that can be used by management and end users for

The group is the Customer management team (web analytics) within the
Consumer Media BU. They manage the audience for 17 customer websites. They
work with various teams (production, design, development) and handle
questions on user/audience. They then analyze and propose solutions back to
the business.

Primary Responsibilities and Related Duties:

* Ability to process large quantity of web traffic data and extract
relevant, actionable insights.
* Provide in-depth analysis of site performance and customer experience
using various data sources.

Summary
We are looking for a technical expert to work on the Fixed Income
RiskWarehousing project. This is a SQL Server 2008 Analysis Server
environment
used to present and manipulate risk and other financial data to the trading,

between two web applications. Candidates will knowledge of how to do this in
an automated way are highly desirable. Mortgage experience, specifically in
structured transactions experience (single family, mutli-family) is a plus.

Must also have expertise in Quick Test Pro , Access, Quality Center and

* Has 2-5 years experience with processing significant

*This project is to do a data set replacement on all clients which is over
300.The contractor will responsibly for a lot of client facing. They will
need to schedule installs and be very detailed (steps to replace servers).
In addition, their COMM SKILLS must be EXCELLENT! DO NOT submit candidates
that do not have this level of communication. They must be very
professional, presentable, detailed and organized (manage many clients at
the same time). Candidate must be flexible to work weekend, evening or
holidays if needed. Candidate will also be assisting internally as there are
around 50 systems. They will build databases, package and ship to clients. *



Proven experience in troubleshooting routine product issues up to level 3
incidents in a senior role (Incident Tracking and Resolution), participate
as an active member in all support duties which include after hours and
weekend monitoring of client support calls and emails in a team rotation,
participate in development, facilitation and maintenance of product support
tools including run books, monitoring, and knowledge bases to aid in the
product support process.



The individual works closely with the Customer Support team the functional
Project Leaders and programming support staff as well as the client base.



*Essential Responsibilities*



Include but not limited to the following:

· Day-to-day Technical Support of Clients using the distributed
environment

· Support all technical aspects of the clients using distributed
environment - primarily MS-Windows, however Linux environment is growing

· Record Tickets & Service job requests by scheduling / executing
tasks within the "application constraints".

· Follow Up to ensure the client's request is serviced in an
appropriate and timely manner.

· Directly follow-up with client contacts to ensure satisfactory
resolution.

· Servicing the client's requests / issue can include working with
other Technical Resources within Data Centers; Network, etc

· Escalate issues as appropriate.

· This function relates to the regular maintenance (e.g. Windows

Education and Training

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent desirable
