  *Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job
functions):*

Designs logical data models and leads and serves on small to large, complex
projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments.
Serves as a lead/project team member on various projects and may coach one
or more technical staff members. Analyzes and develops complex logical
database designs, logical data models and relational data definitions to
support corporate and customer information system requirements. Designs,
develops and validates data integration and provides oversight to the
development and improvement of the technology framework.
Identifies and resolves data/information integrated related issues in a
production environment and translates requirements into applications that
employ appropriate decision support and reporting tools. Responsible for
database administrative functions including loading data from external
sources, reviewing queries for performance issues, identifying
opportunities to reduce data redundancy and reviewing and validating data
input for accuracy.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

*Knowledge of:*


   - emerging and relevant regulatory issues (e.g., consumer privacy laws,
   and specific industry guidelines such as HIPPA, PCI) to develop checks and
   controls of information assets.


*Experience in:*


   - insurance environment or other finance / service industry.


*Significant experience in/with*

   - Designing, developing, testing and implementing a BI reporting and
   dashboard solutions.
   - Installation / Configure / Customize OBIA (11g and lower) & OBIEE
   Infrastructure with recommended Web Servers and Hardware.
   - Data modeling (Kimball /Dimensional Modeling) in OBIEE demonstrating
   expertise in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive
   Dashboard, and Oracle BI Publisher, BI Delivers, DAC server.
   - Different configuration options that exist for failover, load
   balancing, caching, security, etc. with respect to OBIEE.
   - Customizing the Functional Setups of OBIA & ETL Mappings (Pre-Packaged
   Analytics) for modules like Service Analytics, Financial, SCM, and HRMS
   respectively.
   - Expertise in industry leading ETL/Data Integration tools like
   Informatica (9.x, 8.x,); Oracle Data Integrator; Oracle Warehouse Builder.
   - Integrating OBIEE with OLTP web applications.
   - Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels
   of the business.
   - Performance monitoring, tuning of OBIEE infrastructure and BI reporting
   - BI tools (e.g. WebFocus, OBIEE, COGNOS, Business Objects
   - Data Integration (ETL) tools (e.g. Informatica, CRM / MRM) and Data
   Quality tools
   - Strong understanding of relational database design concepts and
   Structured Query Languages.

The technical business analyst collects, documents, and maintains the
authoritative list of requirements for all development efforts.  The lead
technical business analyst is accountable for the functional design and
adherence to corporate software development methodologies, as well as
coordination across all technical resources throughout the lifecycle of a
software development project.  Secondary responsibilities include creation
and maintenance of various types of documents, testing support and
assisting in delivery activities.


*GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES*

·     Develops requirements documentation and related specifications,
documentation and business cases
·     Decompose, refine, and document requirements using appropriate
graphical & textual techniques, including use cases, diagrams, process
models, wireframes, functional and technical specifications.
·    Collaborates with business customers to define scope for new projects,
documents risks and assumptions, develops the delivery approach, and
estimates cost and timings
