Job Title: Business Analyst w/CBAP) certification
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Duration: 6+ Months
This resource will serve as a Business Analyst who works closely with the
Bureau Chief for Bureau of PK-20 Education Reporting and Accessibility to
facilitate the successful completion of a Race to the Top (RTTT) project
with technology components used to provide downloads, dashboards, and
reports of educational data.
Minimum Qualifications for Business Analyst:
Strong technology skills and 6 or more years of Business Analyst experience.
Current Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
Bachelor of Arts / Science degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or related field or advance degree in a technology field with
related experience working with technology solutions
Strong technical background analyzing large data sets
Strong background with best practices in technical documentation and
software development methodologies is required
Strong Communication skills are required:
Able to productively participate in technology meetings, grasp technical
concepts and effectively communicate these concepts using storyboards and
other means to both technical and non-technical audiences
Skilled in writing technology specifications, reviewing technology
solutions and working with technology architecture
Solid skills using Microsoft suite of products, including but not limited
to Visio is required
Experience working with governmental agencies is preferred
Experience working with educational data is preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with a team of experts in developing
dashboards, downloads, and reports for displaying educational data
Strong skills in developing functional and technical design specifications
Strong skills in documenting process flows and identifying areas to improve
process efficiencies
