At least 5 years of experience in developing solutions utilizing the Cognos tool suite. Experience with Cognos 8 and 10 required. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong, structured programming skills in Cognos 10.2.1 and higher. Solid analysis and problem solving skills. Database knowledge. Minimal business exposure. Excellent written and verbal skills. Knowledge of SDLC principals and ability to apply them to system development or maintenance (where applicable) and quality principals (where applicable.) Must be a solid team player, able to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities. Must have modeling and report Studio development experience in a Congnos 10 environment. Must have Dimensionally Modeled Relational (DMR) modeling tecniques and Dimensional Reporting Authoring experience. Education and/or Experience: Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. Must have 3+ years of system experience in developing or supporting applications.
