*Summary*



This is a hands-on development position working in a diverse team of
developers to develop user interfaces for various applications in the areas
of performance and quality. The development environment is Flex 3.0 on top
of a Java application server and an Oracle database. The candidate should
ideally have significant experience in Flex 2.0, but 1.5 is equally valued
so long as the candidate possesses the propensity, aptitude and experience
in Flex. The projects are data intensive and require extensive use of custom
MXML and ActionScript code.

Flex development experience, creating rich user interfaces for complex
applications is required. ActionScript development skills, including
retrieving and parsing XML data from an application server and hands-on

POSITION SUMMARY

This candidate should excel in all components of the Flash development
skill set, as well as the Web Development skill set including: HTML,
DHTML, CSS, AJAX, Management Systems, site maintenance and
troubleshooting.

Candidate should have experience driving technology-wide Flash
architectures and platform decisions and processes and provide
technical architecture oversight, communicate technical decisions and
processes. This candidate should have the ability to deliver projects
successfully and on time with little oversight required.

Candidates for this position are also expected to constantly improve
production delivery techniques, and the ability to help standardize
that process and improve upon it.  This candidate should have
exceptional technical skills, proven people and team management skills
and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or EE preferred

Expert with .jsp, .php, .cfm, or .asp (or similar object-oriented
server-side scripting languages)
Proven ability to work with and provide leadership to all members of a
diverse project team
Content Management System Architecting experience
Flash platform Architect
Experience drafting requirements and functional specifications
Proven ability to lead technical projects and technical teams
Extensive structured programming experience
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex initiatives

5 or more years as a Lead developer for Flash-based projects
5 or more years of experience as a project lead/team lead
4 years experience designing complex applications in Flash

4 years experience with consuming XML within Flash
4 years experience in working with and creating dynamically generated
variable SWF files
4 years experience working with Audio assets within flash, related to
