Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. Must be a seasoned/proficient DB2 UDB for Z/OS DBA. Should have hands on experience with DB2 UDB for Z/OS utilities, data sharing, partitioning and COBOL & SQL stored procedures. Duties include performance tuning, monitoring, development of backup & recovery strategies, and physical and logical database design. Experience with large databases, 500-700 GB. Familiarity with the ETL Tool. Familiarity with Web Applications. Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows XP or higher version. Hands on experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Work Experience 5+ years Financial Services Experience 3+ years Experience Seasoned DB2 UDB for Z/OS DBA - REQUIRED Works independently Familiarity with other data bases, ETL tools, web applications and or other programming languages COF Experience - Desired but not required Develops advanced domain specific technology solutions and guides their development into a final product ETL experience in implementation and design Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members).
