Description: Job Functions Business Intelligence - analysis and reporting on Warranty Claims Develop management reporting solutions as well as planning and analytics solutions using the Cognos Development suite of technologies. Basic Qualifications Ability to work closely with senior level business managers to derive requirements is required Ability to quickly prototype solutions and estimate cost of developing short and long term solutions is required Above average communication skills (both oral and written) are required A working knowledge of the automotive industry desirable, knowledge of the heavy duty truck manufacturing business is preferred. Professionalism, strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment are essential. Documentation and mentoring skills in both BI best practices and technical knowledge are required. A general understanding of OLAP tools and experience with Cognos BI version 8 is required. The candidate should also have experience in custom Legacy systems integration and integration of multiple data sources. A proven track record in meeting budget and schedule for tasks while still meeting or exceeding business requirements and goals is required Candidates must have 5 years experience in Cognos 8 BI - Report Studio development.
