in* Houston, TX*. Below are the skills we are looking for
*Role: **SSRS Developer*
* Location: Houston, TX*
*Duration: 6-12+ Months + Extensions*
*Our long-standing client is looking for a seasoned SQL , SSRS, and sys
admin type resource who has experience running scripts, scheduling jobs,
etc.*
*Position Summary:* The Reporting unit is responsible for monthly reporting
as well as all Delinquency reporting for certain entities reporting for the
company.
This position is essential to ensuring that all required activity is
reported correctly, including payment status dates, default codes as
applicable to the various entities, changes, etc. are carried out in a
controlled, timely and accurate manner. The position is responsible for
reporting all transactions under tight time constraints. The position
requires accountability, flexibility, organization, prioritization, and
accuracy. The details of the tasks are varied and may change frequently to
meet various governmental program requirements.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.*

Accurate reporting in accordance with the applicable government entity
guidelines (includes monthly and interim reporting obligations).

Compare loan resolution data reports against the modification
agreements to ensure accuracy of interim and monthly reports.

Update delinquency status or review data as applicable
-
Maintain data from various sources to report as needed within the
given month.
-
Assist in the review and population of required data in the
applicable government entity reporting fields.
-
Monitor results of all reporting entities and ensure correct data is
reported, corrections are made as needed, error codes are researched and
resolved.

Ensure that Scorecard status for the various governmental programs is
closely monitored and any and all corrections to data fields and
improvements to internal processes are implemented as needed.

Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with
the various governmental reporting counterparts as well as internal parties.

Review and reconcile reports.

Ensure that all items are reported in accordance with the required
governmental program guidelines.
-
Prepare and maintain detailed written procedures for each entity and
recommend improvements or changes to existing end to end internal processes
as needed to ensure greater efficiency and accuracy.

Review new servicing agreements to ensure compliance with reporting
requirements.
-
Respond to miscellaneous requests for information.

Prepare reports using SSRS and SQL as required by regulatory agencies.
-
Work with the VP/AVP of the group to design and store the data required
for reporting per the groups and company standards.

Prepare management and adhoc reports using SQL as requested (ability
to create views, functions and stored procedures)
-
Assist with internal and external audit requests for information and
related audits.
*Education/Experience:*
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) in Business or Finance from four-year
college or university a plus. The Senior Reporting Analyst must have
strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Technical Skills:*
To perform this job successfully, the candidate should have strong
knowledge of SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Relational Database
Design, T-SQL and Dynamic SQL. They should have a thorough knowledge of
computer applications which includes MS Office, and have a strong knowledge
of modeling and analysis spreadsheet software (Excel).
