Job Title: QA Automated Tester Location: Beavorton, OR Duration: 8 months plus extension *Rate: Max $35/hr on C2C* Required Experience/Skills & Education: Expertise in one of the following languages: C++, C#, VB, Java, Python, Perl. (Java/C++ preferred) Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems and applications. Strong root cause analysis experience. Schedule estimation (of tasks), and on-time delivery against those schedules. Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation, and testing methodologies. Ability to quickly learn, and become proficient with complex applications, understanding their interactions with other installed products, and how they operate within an overall system. Network configuration and management, including a strong knowledge of networking infrastructure and technologies. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Candidate must be self-motivated with a strong desire to continually grow technical expertise. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Major pluses: Experience in an agile engineering environment. Experience coordinating with remote teams. Demonstrated expertise in a commercial or custom automation framework (E.g. Rational, QTP, Silk or other). Prior QA or development work experience.
