*Job Description:* Has experience in multiple system environments. These individuals can lead a tool evaluation effort, including the definition of the evaluation criteria, identification of tools to be evaluated, and the actual evaluation * Has worked on various tiers including front-end, serverside, UNIX, and database * Perform as a Team Leader when required The Private Passport team is in need of a J2EE architect lead to lead web development projects on our banking portal application. The ideal candidate will utilize skills and experience in architecting and leading a cross tier team to successful and quality delivery. Responsible for analysis, design and development of applications/use cases within framework of current application and enterprise frameworks. Lead team of developers in distributed locations. Manage business partner relationships, consult and proactively develop solutions that meet both tactical and strategic needs of the client, technology and business teams. *Knowledge/Skills* Knowledge of Java, Weblogic application servers, Oracle database and PL/SQL, UNIX scripting languages, java scripting, DOJO, Struts. Experience in portal technologies, Spring framework, web services and SOA would be a plus. Knowledge of full software development lifecycle. Knowledge of UML, Database modeling techniques. Analytical and problem solving skills. Must show a strong interest in working with business teams to deliver sustainable solutions that best meets needs of client within the constraint matrix.
