*Description:The core requirements for this position will be providing
Qlikviewdevelopment on both existing and new/prototype applications.
Executing all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven
projectmanagement and testing methodologies. Responsibilities: Reporting/UI
Design deliverables go from UI prototypes, to mock-ups to afinished product
reporting interface. Brainstorm broad concepts and ideas of various
reporting designs, bothindividually and with the team, and translate those
into a consumable,tangible objective. User & Design flows, experiences, and
mockups with product specs that canbe prototyped and refined in
collaboration with the GRA Reporting team. Estimating timeframes for self
in order to deliver projects on time and tobudget. Contribute to high-level
strategic decisions around report designs, Datavisualization and creative
direction. Create functional specifications at the level necessary to
extend orcustomize existing proof of concept product Gather requirements
using interviews, document analysis, workshops,business process
descriptions, use business case scenarios, businessanalysis, task and
workflow analysis Develop project documentation, testing materials,
training materials,requirements gathering including downstream and upstream
interfacerequirements and adhering to a project management methodology is a
must Knowledge and experience: Experienced in developing solutions using
Qlikview software Intermediate level skill in integrating data using
Qlikview Intermediate level skill in Qlikview scripting Good knowledge of
installing and configuring/administering QlikViewDesktop, QlikView Server,
IIS Server and QlikView Publisher Experience in managing Access point
security thru Active Directory and DMSSchedule QVW reloads on server and
troubleshoot errors and failures Candidate should possess strong background
in Data Analysis and have somedata modeling experience Intermediate level
skill in using SQL Experience in a Data Warehouse environment reporting
ondimensions/hierarchies Experience in Star Schema/Snowflake modeling, FACT
& Dimensions tables Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
plus 3 + years relatedwork experience Strong organizational skills,
excellent communication and presentationskills, and strong knowledge of
property and casualty insurance preferred Strong knowledge of the SDLC
(Software Development Life Cycle) process isrequired Strong knowledge and
understanding of databases and applicationsdevelopment concepts Good level
of comfort using VB Scripts to write Macros in QlikView and/orExcel
Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong knowledge
ofproperty and casualty insurance is preferred. Experience in the risk
management field including management of key risksfor a property & casualty
insurance company is preferred Proficient in Word, Excel, Windows-based
applications and internet usage. Capable of multitasking & prioritizing in
a fast paced and agile workenvironment Attention to detail and a passion to
produce a quality product *
