This position functions as a key contributor inside the Data Management Team to create robust ETL and reporting solutions which meet the business needs of the organization. Partners with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts from Business Units, and counterparts in IT to complete system requirements, technical specifications and process documentation for assigned projects. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates the scope of the business problems presented and helps identify viable technical solutions. Work is performed with minimal supervision and requires initiative and judgment. May lead and direct the work of others on assigned projects. Position Responsibilities Develop extracts, transforms, and loads with SQL Server SSIS Packages Drive data warehouse architectural decisions and development standards Create detailed technical specifications and release documentation for assigned ETL and reporting projects Multi-task across several ongoing projects and daily duties of varying priorities as required Provide input into each phase of the systems development cycle as required Ensure adherence to published development standards and database best practices, resulting in consistent implementation of project components Ensures data integrity, performance quality, and resolution of data load failures Ability to make good judgments, decisions, negotiate and problem solve Work closely with customers and business owners Required Skills 2-4+ years of experience as ETL/BI developer with large scale data warehouse Significant experience with SQL Server 2005, including writing T-SQL, SSIS packages, and SSRS Proven ability in dimensional data modeling, object creation, and optimization Ability to use XML Schema and XSL Strong discipline in full life cycle development Project team leadership experience Detailed-oriented with a proven history as a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision Strong oral presentation and written communication skills Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills Results oriented Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS related area *Regards,* *Scott Robinson - IT Recruiter* *Direct: 646-340-0603* *Email ID : sc...@itbtalent.com,* *scott.requireme...@gmail.com* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
