This person will troubleshoot any problems that may come up with the database environments: performance issues; replication issues; or operational issues as well as recommend alternative relational solutions based on requirements. Will be responsible for managing database security, disaster recovery, and capacity planning as well as architecting database schemas and layouts. Will work closely with developers to enhance software applications and monitor and ensure 24x7x365 databases availability and stable operation.
