Description:



Senior PeopleSoft Analyst

Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) is upgrading its
payroll processing systems and retiring its legacy payroll systems.  As a
result, SAIC will be migrating approximately 43,000 national employees’
payroll processing to ADP’s Enterprise/Autopay systems.  During this
transition, SAIC will be developing, testing and implementing ADP required
interfaces from SAIC’s PeopleSoft v8.9 system.

Implement payroll processing in ADP’s Enterprise/Autopay systems for
approximately 43,000 national employees, retire legacy payroll systems, and
remain integrated with ancillary vendors organized around pay and deduction
data.

Scope of work for consultants will specifically include:
·         Perform functional and system level requirements analysis on
PeopleSoft (PS) v8.9 designated modules and inbound/outbound interfaces in
support of Payroll system implementation.
·         Work with vendor implementation team to develop, review and
approve PS interface file specifications.
·         Complete data mapping and multiple data loads/validation in
vendor's system, develop and execute test scenarios.
·         Work with internal PS analysts/developers to implement any
required internal PS system changes including but not limited to: retirement
of multiple vendor interface files, modifications of business
rules/tables/fields to affect related policy or business process changes.
·         Support the SAIC team developing and testing new and existing
interfaces, reports and systems.
·         Assist with Business Process Reengineering.
·         Peer review as required.
·         Create or update specifications.
·         Follow configuration management processes.
·         Create or update other project documentation as identified by the
SAIC team.
·         Support creating and modifying test scripts and perform testing
tasks for development and/or configuration work done by the SAIC team.
·         Perform knowledge transfer to SAIC team.


Supplier candidate required skills:

·         Deep understanding of PeopleSoft (PS) v8.9 or 9.x database and
data structures.
·         Strong understanding of PeopleSoft foundation tables employee
demographics data.
·         Detailed knowledge of payroll business processes and terminology,
including past experience implementing payroll solutions with ADP.
·         Ability to work independently with multiple vendors to develop
file specs, test scenarios and perform data validation.
·         8+ years as a software analyst 5+ years of PeopleSoft functional
development experiences, especially on HRMS modules version 8.9+ and tools
level 8.4+.
·         Participation in at least 2 major PeopleSoft HRMS implementations.
·         Hands on experiences in People Tools, PIA Functionality SQL, and
Oracle DB; hands on experiences working on PeopleSoft.
·         Tools: PS HCM App 8.9 and 9.1, Tools 8.49.13, Oracle
10g(10.2.0.4), BEA tuxedo 9.1, STAT 5.0.1
·         Familiarity with SAIC's PS implementation and customizations
(desired)

Supplier must work on-site, along-side SAIC team personnel and be on site
during work hours of M-F 8 am to 5 pm. Some nationwide travel may be
required but expected to be very minimal.

Supplier must submit resumes for all potential candidates.
All candidate submissions must be for either U.S Citizens or Resident
Aliens.  No foreign national candidates will be accepted due to ITAR Export
Control requirements regarding facility and systems access.

Deliverables will include:
·         Labor required to support production, review and approval of
vendor project deliverables, including but not limited to:  PS pass-through
file, PS data mapping, PS data extract/load/validation with vendor's
systems, test scenario development/execution, ADP pay data file retirement.
·         Documentation of assigned work such as analysis, specifications,
test cases, and development work.
·         Weekly Progress reports
