Define and write clear and succinct technical documentation related to
systems and application
Engineering. Build Windows Server 2003 and 2008 Virtual Machines by
deploying VMs from templates.
Build Windows/ESXi physical servers via HP iLO and DELL Drac virtual media.
Failover/Failback Windows
cluster resources to patch both active and passive nodes. Update drivers
and firmware on Fiber
Channel/NIC/iSCSI network adapters. Manage user accounts using Active
Directory 2003/2008 to create
new domain accounts, provide controlled access to existing network shares
as well as creating new
ones. Troubleshooting user account lockouts using AD Lockout tool and
Microsoft Operations Manager.
Migrate VMs across hosts within a HA cluster to perform maintenance tasks
on ESXi hosts. Use VMware
vMotion to eliminate application downtime from planned server maintenance
by migrating running
virtual machines between hosts. Create clones from existing VMs (both live
