*Title :** Lead Cognos Developer* *Duration :** 6 months* *Location :** Boca Raton, FL* ** *RATE : $40/hr Negotiable * * * *INTERVIEW TYPE: F2F Interview on own expenses * *Complete Description: * · Cognos report development including framework modeling, creation of data mappings and dashboards. · Work effectively with internal business and technical stakeholders including ability to present technical solutions while showing a strong understanding of business activities and objectives. · Develop high level and detail designs for data mart and data warehouse projects. · Create system documentation including, but not limited to, data dictionaries, schema diagrams, programming specifications, etc. · Develop system test plans and test cases. · Provide technical support for the enterprise data warehouse, including the development of enhancement requests and defect resolution. *Qualifications:* · *5+ years experience in BI/Reporting development.* · 2+ years experience developing *frameworks and dashboards* using Cognos, experience with *Power Designer data modeling and Sybase IQ a plus*. · *Degree in Computer Science and multiple year’s related work experience.* · Knowledge/experience with data warehousing concepts such as *data modeling, data quality, SCD*, *ETL.* · Knowledge/experience with both Entity Relational Models, and Dimensional Models. · Strong understanding of Business Intelligence *(BI, OLAP, ROLAP) tools.* · Extensive experience with *SQL* and ability to develop complex schemas. · Excellent communication skills. · Strong analytic and problem solving skills. · Ability to handle several assignments simultaneous --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
