*Need: .NET developer with DTS Experience. * *Location: **San Antonio, TX* *Duration: Start at the end of September - 2 month contract* *Inclusive Pay Rate: $35 hr. C2C* Provides technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs. Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff. Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participates in overall systems testing. Leads the migration of applications to production. Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides. As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan. The position is primarily responsible for developing workflow and web-applications for Loan Service and other departments. The individual must be able to thoroughly design, code, and implement custom web-based applications in a smart and efficient manner. -Troubleshoot, maintain, create, and develop web Applications and SQL databases used as back-ends for existing or newly created front-end software applications.- Leads work effort with internal customers to analyze and document information and needs. - Must also participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle with various other business units.- Develops and publishes complex end user queries, as needed.- Creates detailed procedural documentation and training materials.- Perform/coordinate initial troubleshooting and problem isolation for user and departmental hardware and software systems/problems. Assure that problems are escalated when required.- Identifies alternatives to traditional workflow methods and prepares recommendations .- May require triage and help supporting production issues. The position requires 4-6+ years experience in software design and development, utilizing .NET and SQL Server applications. DTS experience a Big Plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven working knowledge of business systems with emphasis on web application development. Strong programming background in a team environment. Education and/or work experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Strong knowledge of VB.NET<http://vb.net/>, ASP/ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, XML, Javascript, and MS SQL 2005/2000, DTS. Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
