Gathering
This position provides analytical support to a project or department. Under
the guidance of a team leader, responsible for collecting and researching
data, performing analysis, providing recommendations and presenting results.
Provide leadership to the project team for moderately complex and highly
complex projects with large scopes.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Business Analyst I
Serve as a liaison between the internal/external business community and the
IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the IT
organization, manage changes to such specifications, and educate the IT
organization on the direction of the business.
Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-entity, enterprise-wide initiatives
that will encompass an end to end analysis
Responsible for all communication, requirements gathering and documentation
of assigned projects.
Develop root cause analysis and business case for proposed solutions and
process improvements
Establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements
Align projects to management strategy
Produce new process improvement techniques and services
Develop metrics that provide data for process management indicators for
future improvement opportunities.
Create, develop and maintain project timeline for key deliverables by
developing project plan, monitoring milestone completion and coordinating
project progress
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business
or equivalent relevant work experience in business analysis, systems
analysis and/or testing
6-9 years of work experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or
testing

Immediate Need Business Analyst with **ClaimsCheck

Position  :  Business Analyst
Location :  Owings Mills MD
Duration :  12+ Month's

Requirement:
Working on ClaimsCheck replacement project. FEP, Facets, and NASCO
consistency across platforms.
Currently have claimcheck won’t be supported end of 2017. Did an RFI/RFP
decided to move forward with McKesson claimsExten project.
Need someone strong from a clinical perspective who understands clinical
editing rules and impacts to claims processing. Need to be able to
create requirements, run JAD sessions, obtain approval, and support project
(including testing and working with business teams).
Will also want someone with some provider experience who understands
medical policies. Dealing directly with providers around medical
policies.
Need to have experience with any claims system (NASCO / Facets preferred)
Remote with ability to come in every now and again would work
Requirements:
MUST HAVE CLINICAL EDITING SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities include:
The Sr. Business Analysts consult with business owners regarding business
needs and translating business needs into analytics/reporting requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conducting analysis of business and user needs in order to develop

Mandatory Requirements:

client interviews, focus groups) and development.

Business Intelligence tools and data analytics background and an in depth

status and project management software such Microsoft Word, Excel and
Access 2000, Project Manager, Visual FoxPro, and Visual Basic.
Three (3) years demonstrated hands-on experience
developing end user training materials:
Bachelors degree in information science, computer science, mathematics,
public/business administration
Strong analytics and communications background (e.g., math, statistics,
quantitative methods, and verbal and writing proficiency)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Effective communication skills and the ability to interact well with
colleagues
Strong Business Intelligence tools and data analytics background and an
in-depth understanding of how to design and create BI applications, and
health care business intelligence reporting solutions is a huge plus.
