Responsibilities: Analyze and gather a set of requirements for BI tool evaluation specific to the needs our client. Analyze several commercial reporting/BI tools for suitability. Convert existing reports to the new tool. Create new reports as identified. Researching, configuring, installing and evaluating the chosen BI tool. Integrate the chosen BI tool into our client’s software application. Requirements: Experience with market leading reporting/BI tools (Cognos, Microstrategy, etc.) Experience integrating reporting/BI tools into application suites. Experience designing and authoring reports. Working knowledge of SQL, Stored Procedure programming and database schemas. Experience with Data Marts, multi-dimensional schemas and data warehouse ETL is a plus. Experience with Sybase SQL Anywhere is a plus. Experience with Oracle is a plus. Experience with Java, J2EE and building web applications employing the MVC architecture and SPRING 2.5+ is a plus. BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or equivalent.
