Business Objects and SAP are being deployed, and this person will be responsible for embedding themselves within a given functional area to help the business get access to the reporting and analytics that they need from Business Objects, and help them understand how to use these tools to realize the data they need. This is a customer facing role, but will also require communication at a technical level with the IT team as a whole. Some training of end users may be involved, as well as working with them to understand if the data they are requesting is feasible with the current setup, or if more technical design work is needed to the existing cubes and universes (that work would be done by the technical team). *REQUIRED:* - Experience with and understanding of Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Distribution processes and related IT data. - Strong Analyst skills, with ability to gather and translate business requirements, and work with the business to define projects. - Solid knowledge of Business Objects, with an understanding of Business Objects capabilities and Reporting. This person must be able to interface with internal data management team on a technical level on Business Objects reporting topics. - Understanding of SAP data (experience working in an SAP environment. This is not a technical SAP consultant or a purely SAP functional resource either, but this person will need to have worked in a technical environment that included SAP).
