Please respond to vikr...@revosysit.com Location: *Somerset, NJ* Duration: *6 Months* *Job Summary:* The Senior Oracle PeopleSoft Database Administrator will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the PeopleSoft Financials 9.1. This includes project development as well as design backup, recovery, replications, high availability, archiving, conversion and data load strategies for PeopleSoft Oracle 11g databases on UNIX AIX . Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. May require a Bachelors degree in a related area and 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. *Required qualifications include: * • 5+ years PeopleSoft Financials DBA experience • 5+ years Oracle DBA experience including 11g experience • Strong knowledge of all key Oracle utilities such as RMAN, OEM, DataPump, DataGuard, OID • Very strong communication skills • Must have experience supporting PeopleSoft Financial modules specifically GL, AP, PO; knowledge of key online and batch processes and DBA support requirements with these modules as well as PeopleSoft tuning • Experience supporting PeopleSoft Application upgrades for large databases – ability to tune, troubleshoot and provide recommendations for upgrades tasks and processes; ability to work well under pressure on multiple initiatives and deliver on aggressive targets dates • Experience with large database server migrations • Support for PeopleSoft database refreshes to support upgrade and development efforts utilizing BCV • Working experience with Shareplex replication software. • Configuration of new database server environments and creation of new 11g database environments • Installation of database software (client and server);establish and configure client connectivity at the server and application level. • Support for related volume and performance stress testing support, including stress reporting, performance tuning, SQL reviews, developing and installing database maintenance trails. • Completion of capacity analysis and requests when required. • Coordination for configuration of DBMS support software including Patrol, TSM, Maestro and other DBMS software. • Creation and management of the database maintenance processes and jobs (such as backups, weekly DBA maintenance trails, statistics, reorgs). • Documenting the database maintenance processing flows per standards. • Coordinate and work with offshore staff on team deliverables; ensures quality and timeliness of off shore work; provide hand-offs associated with all DBA tasks Thanks N' Regards, Vikram M** Revosys IT Inc.** 108-31, 47th Avenue, Corona, NY 11363 Ph: 347 468 7163 | Fax: 347 649 2053 vikr...@revosysit.com | www.revosysIT.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
