*About the Job*
Responsible for delivering high-quality software products. Contribute to
continuous improvement of Performance and Capacity Engineering (PaCE) and
cross-functional software development processes.
Applies experience, intelligence, and creativity to resolve a wide range of
moderately complex issues; seeks guidance from other relevant experts on
most complex issues (e.g., technical or business complexity). This job is
the fully qualified, career oriented, journey level position.
*Education*
Education in Masters/Bachelor’s degree in computer Science/Engineering or
equivalent.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Full Stack application performance engineer with SaaS experienced preferred.
*Required Experience and Skills*
· Working knowledge of issue/defect tracking tools such as Jira,
Test Director etc.
· Highly analytical, pro‐active and detail oriented.
· Must be a self‐starter and be able to operate independently
within a team members situated globally.
· Excellent communication skills and experience working in a
multi‐site environment with on shore and off shore team
· Good problem solving and analytical skills
· Strong ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
· Technology
o Strong hands on experience with SOASTA and or other load testing tools
o Strong experience with Profiling tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics
o Experience in Unix, Windows and other OS monitoring.
o Experience in data mining tools like SPLUNK.
o High Level program language
o Shell scripting (bash, ksh, etc)
o HTTP protocol
o Basic Statistics
o Distributed Systems
o Amazon Webservices
§ SQS, SNS, S3, RD, EMR, etc. is a plus
o Event Driven Environment
§ Vert.x, Node.js is a plus
o Search Technologies
§ Elastic Search / Solr / Lucene is a plus
o Databases
§ No SQL
§ Cassandra is a plus
o Relational Databases
o Recent experience in validating iOS and Android application (iOS7,
Android 4.0+)
o Testing of web based applications
