 SharePoint Functional and *Technical Architect / Administrator*

- Development of *architectures (hardware, software, security, integration,
network)*

- Development of custom workflows using *.NET and SharePoint Designer*

- Architect scalable *SharePoint 2013* solution to support current and
future enhancements which includes *ECM (Enterprise Content Management).*

- Manage *SharePoint 2013* in all three environments (development, Test,
Production)

- Manage selective migration of Site Collections from SharePoint 2007 and
2010 to 2013.

- Provide continuous support to *SharePoint 2007, 2010, and 2013

*Job Description:*

*Experience*: 7-10 years of experience in software development.

As a Solution Architect, the individual will be responsible for delivering
business solutions or participating on architecture initiatives.  When
working on business initiatives, the Solution Architect will be responsible
for leading and coordinating projects from a technology perspective,
ensuring that software development life cycle activities are consistent with
the direction set by accepted best practices and client’s standards groups.
The Solution Architect may also be expected to spend a significant amount of
time on development activities. When working on architecture initiatives,
the Solution Architect will be part of a team of peers working on highly
technical, architecture initiatives. Job duties include, but are not limited
to research, tool evaluation, documenting patterns and standards, technology
evaluation and recommendation, mentoring developers through hands-on
assistance as well as formal and informal training and some technical
development. Solutions Architect must be able to take high level direction,
formulate a plan to achieve the goals and execute the plan. Solution
architect will be expected to work on multiple tasks and initiatives
concurrently.

*Essential Functions of the Job:*
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
Provide projects clear architecture and engineering guidance from
elaboration thru transition phases of a project.  Individual will be
responsible for the following deliverables and tasks:
Creating or approving engineering estimation
Creating and/or approving engineering design packages
Creating architecture design packages
Creating and implementing non-functional requirements
Ensuring proper oversight for quality assurance of engineering artifacts
Support of engineering staff throughout construction phase
Support and enforce engineering methodology program
Support re-use thru implementation of shared engineering assets
Liaison with peer teams, including EA, IA, IE, SD, Quality, Security, and
Operations

*Knowledge/Skills Requirements:*
Work Experience  as an architect or technology lead
OO software development/architecture experience in .Net.
Experience as a software architect or working on a software architecture
team, providing technical leadership/guidance/mentorship (direction setting
and articulating, consensus building, conflict mediation, diplomacy, etc.).
Experience with multi-tier system development for large enterprises
Experience building and supporting mission critical applications,
running in a highly distributed manner.
Expert level skills in.Net.
Proficient with Sharepoint 2010 and related technologies
Prior full cycle experience with custom development of Sharepoint-based
solutions (custom webparts, workflows, forms, pages, integrating with
external systems and deploying the final solutions onto managed Sharepoint
farms).
Experience in developing/overseeing the development of line of business
applications using Sharepoint Designer and InfoPath.
Experience building consensus across multiple teams and working with
teams in disparate geographic locations.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Experience in full development lifecycle phases
Experience planning and breaking down a task into sub-tasks and
estimating effort to perform the work.
Familiarity with various requirements gathering techniques.
Familiarity with configuration management concepts and tools.
Familiarity with software usability concepts.
Experience facilitating meetings with multiple customers and technical
staff, including building consensus and mediating compromises when
necessary.
Software prototyping experience.
Demonstrated strong logical and technical problem-solving skills.
Position requires accurate and timely tracking of time spent working on
projects.
Extensive, real-world experience designing enterprise software and
defining
Solution architectures and technology (UML, design patterns, SOA, EAI,
BPI, etc ..)
Experience overseeing (from a technical perspective) multiple projects.
Exposure to application security technologies and approaches
Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and standards
