Summary: Coordinate all activities surrounding database administration and warehousing. Participates in the architecture, design, development, and maintenance efforts for enterprise wide data management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Provides database expertise, technical support and analysis to assist with the implementation, troubleshooting, and production support of high-volume and high-availability SQL server environments utilizing Microsoft SQL Server. · Provide specific expertise in Data Warehousing, SQL Server Analysis Services, Online Analytical Processing Cubes and display methodologies. · Guarantees the performance, security, integrity and quality of databases and associated master files; ensuring storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly; provides written database documentation. · May be asked to lead or direct the work of others. · Identifies customers' needs and provides products and/or solutions that meet those needs. · Demonstrates personal commitment to excellence in support and service to customers and other colleagues. · Demonstrates customer service by managing difficult or emotional customer situations, responding promptly to customer needs, soliciting customer feedback for improvement and responding to requests for service and assistance. · Conduct business with strict adherence to bank policies and procedures. Participates in the bank's Performance Management System. At least 5 years of solid MS SQL Server DBA experience. Focus on OLAP, SSAS, Warehouse is a big plus.
