Need local candidates; Should be available for F2F interview today Job Description:* - Plan, coordinate, and administer database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, requirements, operational guidelines and protection - Develop data models and perform planning of architecture, functions, modules, recovery, standards and implementation - Work with internal and external customers to develop new value-added programs and data solutions with existing data warehouse structure - Act as liaison with customers - Tests designed applications - Analyzes and determines information needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities - Research and evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions for business issues - Create ad-hoc reports utilizing various data sources - Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies - Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience - Requires 2-5 years of related experience in the design, maintenance, and administration of relational databases - Minimum of 5 years experience with developing software at the data layer in a SQL server environment using Transact-SQL Software development skills in object oriented programming including Microsoft ASP or .net, .net preferred - SQL Server database administration experience, experience with mission critical, OLTP applications preferred - Knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning, backup and recovery methods *Required skills:* • 5+ years of development /administration experience in SQL Server 2005/2008. • Highly proficient in SQL queries - developing stored procedures, triggers, creating tables, functions, query optimization and performance tuning. • Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts, including star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes, dimensional modeling and reporting tool. • Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Cubes, Dimensions, Measures, MDX Queries • Experience in SQL Server Administration, loading large datasets, table partitions, backup and recovery. • Experience in report development using MS-Office tools, Excel, PowerPoint etc. • Experience working with Oracle, Terra Data is a plus. • Good communication skills and a Team Player. *Desired Skills:* • Technical IT development background. • Teradata development experience. • Experience in Big Data technologies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Please send me matching resume to sujeet.ku...@pyramidci.com * Regards, *Sujeet Dudhankar Senior Executive - Resourcing Pyramid Consulting, Inc.
