*JOB DESCRIPTION:* *Principal Solution Architect* *Duration:* 6 months to start but there is enough work to last up to 18 months *Location:* Miami, FL *Interview:* video, client may require F2F but will pay for travel costs Our client is a Fortune 100 company and looking for a Principal Solution Architect to lead the IT Architecture efforts within the realm of the company’s Business Transformation program. This position is of the Enterprise Architecture team in Miami, FL and reports to the Director Solution Architecture. The position will lead orchestrate all architecture efforts under the enterprise transformation project that will leverage internal and external IT systems. This includes architecture design for key enterprise applications including the Oracle EBS, a set of custom applications that are at the core of the business and other 3rd party apps, as well as the Oracle BI platform. · This is a senior individual contributor position without supervisor responsibility. · Responsible for work products (timing, budget, quality, completeness) of multiple teams. · Provide guidance and in-depth technical/business expertise on complex technical and management issues and adds measurable value through planning, coordination and/or communication. · Facilitate the evolution of the IT enterprise architecture across the organization for the company’s Enterprise Transformation program. · Partner with other Solution Architects and members of the development and operations staff, advocate IT organization's technical standards and arch vision to ensure long term roadmap integrity. · Lead a team of cross-functional architects that contain expertise in Java, PL/SQL, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Middleware, enterprise security, and infrastructure domains. · Design efficient technical systems and engineering processes that enable the business to improve its gross margin. · Participate as a leader to define and implement the new IT development standards · Lead the architecture team that will be redesigning the underlying systems and infrastructure that will support the new business systems that will be used to run the business. This will all be part of the Transformation Project. · Help set the technical direction for the team, drive the evolution of the enterprise architecture, and make appropriate technology choices for the Transformation Project. *Requirements:* · 6+ years of leading or architecting enterprise-wide set of solutions · 3+ years of experience leading a development team in an internal and external IT organization. · 6+years designing/developing and enterprise wide architecture that leverages Java, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Middleware, enterprise security, and infrastructure domains. · *Has a strong understanding of Amazon Web Services* · Experience with systems processing high volumes of transactions · Design and development experience using stateless, parallel processing design patterns · Experience with Order to Cash integrations with Oracle e-Business Suite or some other COTS or homegrown cash management system · Experience with Service Oriented Architectures in a real-time high volume environment · Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills · Ability and readiness to learn the operational details of a global company with a unique business model · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technical program required.
