Please review the requirement and if you find it matching your profile then send me your updated resume ASAP. *Position: Technical Manager/Sr. Architect* *Location: Boston, MA* *Duration: 6 months* *37.5 hours/week* *Position Functions or Responsibilities:* - Understand and manage releases (Release Management) with System Integration. - Manage the wind-down of the legacy HIX/IES system. Identify and understand the business needs, how long the portals needs to be available, how long the data needs to be available, what we do with the data over the long-term, etc. Coordinate efforts with hosting provider to wind this down. - Manage the System Integrator hosting and managed services by bringing technical expertise to the mix, reviewing and managing SLAs, reviewing and managing monthly reports, identifying and planning for changes (i.e. downsize the size of the infrastructure and), manage the transition to another hosting vendor, etc. - Manage the delivery, implementation, and maintenance/support of all non-functional requirements. - Oversee all technical aspects of the HIX/IES project, including but not limited to the architecture, infrastructure (inc. hosting), development and unit testing. Delivery of these aspects are the responsibility of the System Integration (SI) vendor, but the Technical Manager is responsible for working alongside the vendor and the MassIT organization to ensure that requirements in these areas are not assumed, are vetted and approved, and are understood by all parties. - Oversee the System Integration (SI) vendor’s management of the architecture and infrastructure schedule, scope, & resources to meet project goals. - Identify all technical requirements – both functional and non-functional that are missing. - Important to this responsibility is ensuring the SI vendor is aware of all federal and Commonwealth standards and practices that must be adhered to. - Participate in the development of all technical deliverables and artifacts and provide feedback. Facilitate the review and approval of deliverables and artifacts with MassIT & agency IT teams. - Deliverables and artifacts can come from various sources such as SI vendor, IV&V vendor, Commonwealth resources, and federal partners. - Become the project’s point of contact for HIX/IES technology, architecture, and infrastructure, including bringing together various parties (SI Vendor, IV&V vendor, ITD, federal partners, Commonwealth business owners) to communicate and discuss technical and managerial topics. - Schedule and facilitate all meetings of review committees that may be required - Identify and manage the mitigation of risks and issues. - Monitor progress against project schedule and deliverables, including key events such as deliverable acceptance, decision dates, entry and exit criteria, go/no go criteria, etc. - Facilitate/force decision-making at all organizational levels – and escalate when decision-making is impacting the project in any negative manner - Plan for and ensure that architecture and infrastructure resources are available for ongoing project activities and for production operations. - Ensures skills, knowledge, and staffing from MassIT & agency IT are provided as necessary. *Required Skills:* · Five years' experience in Infrastructure Architecture · Five years' experience in Change Control and Release Management · Five years' experience in IT Infrastructure Engineering -- Thanks and Regards Rahman *Technical Recruiter* Techwire Solutions Inc Jersey City, New Jersey *201 428 6486 (Direct)* rah...@techwiresol.com www.techwiresol.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
