Good communication skills (will need to talk to developers across the globe) 5. Good analytical and problem solving skills 6. The candidate should either be very strong on Java and knowledgeable on SQL or be very strong on SQL and knowledgeable on Java. 7. If the candidate is senior (8 – 10 years of experience), basic leadership skills should be present. The role is still of a Java developer and will not be responsible for a team or a module.
