*Position: DevOps Engineer* *Location: Duluth, GA* *Duration: 6++ months * Interview: will hire off phone *Job Description:* National Atlanta based organization is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to join their team for a 6 month contract to hire project. In this role, you will be responsible for automating build processes towards CI/CD automation goals. You will work closely with the lead CI engineer and management to identify CI/CD goals, design solutions and implement them. Qualifications: - 4+ years of Dev Ops for large applications, ideally supporting an agile development process. - Deep understanding of version control systems (SVN, GIT), including branching and merging strategies. - Experience with software build tools (Maven), continuous integration tools (Jenkins), Deployment Tools (UDeploy). - Experience in Infrastructure procurement, Infrastructure allocation are good at least or the person should be willing to pick up quickly. - Experience with the Atlassian suite of applications (JIRA, FishEye, Crucible, Clover, Confluence). - Must be able to work with the development team to automate, maintain and enhance the application instance management and CI/CD processes. - Must be able to identify innovative solutions to problems. - Should be able to create good documentation to explain to offshore team, should be able to work at off hours to guide offshore team in explaining them about deployments, and also for production support activities for any projects that the resource worked on. - Should be good at Unix and should be able to bring good automation to reduce any manual monitoring or manual support tasks that offshore team does. - Experience with Tibco, JBOSS is good to have. Required Skills: - Technology: OS and Scripting, Unix, Shell Scripting, Perl or Python. - Build and Deploy: Maven, SVN and GIT, Jenkins, Udeploy, Puppet or Chef or Ansible (good to have). - Middleware: Tibco BW, BE, EMS (good to have), Datapower, F5(good to have), Golden Gate (good to have). - Database: Oracle. - Programming: Java Debugging (good to have). - Deployment Management: Chef or Puppet or Ansible (good to have). - Process Tools: JIRA and Confluence, L1 and L2 production support experience. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
